After a difficult labor yesterday, Sophie, one of our Nubian milk does, delivered a handsome, healthy baby boy! Our hearts rejoice in the beauty of God's creation, so evident in this momma and baby, responding to each other perfectly! A healthy birth is always a miracle. It is a little uncommon for does to have only one baby, but this was her first pregnancy and it worked out well. She is a wonderful mom and has been very attentive to him. He is nursing like a champ, which is good because she has quite a lot of milk!
